ASCD staff reports on our 2005 Annual Conference, held in Orlando, Florida, April 2-4.
To kick off the ASCD Conference and Exhibit Show, Orlando Mayor Ernest Page issued a proclamation declaring April 1, "ASCD Day." The mayor's representative, Marcia Hope Goodwin, Orlando's director of community affairs, presented a key to the city to ASCD Executive Director Gene Carter during the Books Bash on Friday evening.
